Recruiting papers related to “The Diversity of Vocal Information”

Purpose of the special theme Human voice transmits not only linguistic information but also various aspects characterizing the speaker; who speaks with what feelings, affect, emotion, and attitude under what condition of mental and physical activities. Is the speaker man or woman, young or old, optimistic or pessimistic, diplomatic or introvert, reliable or suspicious? Where is the speaker from and what is her/his native language? Does the voice express a real intention or a lie? Is the voice expressive or emotionless? Although such diversity seems play central roles not only in daily human communication but also in artistic activities, it has not been clarified enough. The latest findings and new tools for effective analyses concerning the diversity of vocal information are welcome to be submitted as an original research paper as well as a research note.
